Floor slab & ceilings

The solid wood elements for floor panels and ceilings are manufactured on a system specially developed for this purpose. Technically dried spruce wood is used as the raw material. The dried boards are joined together to form a continuous strand. In order to create a finely structured, even underside, the continuous strand is profiled on one side. This "endless" board is then cut to the desired element length.
shortened.
The individual boards are stacked layer by layer, pressed and nailed together with aluminium dowel pins, not glued! The solid elements can be manufactured in thicknesses from 7.5 cm to 25 cm and, depending on the layer, up to 1.20 m wide and in any length between 4 m and 12 m. Depending on their thickness, the high-strength elements can bridge very large spans and have excellent room acoustics thanks to the milled profiles on the underside.
Ceiling openings, recesses and drill holes are then made by machine or by hand.
Profiled timber elements (PHE) are used as solid timber elements for floor panels and ceiling elements. They also complement the Solid Timber Wall® system and make it possible to construct the entire shell of a residential building using solid timber construction.

In contrast to the classic CLT solid wood element, the solid wood wall® is not glued, but nailed with aluminium pins and is therefore a diffusion-open building element that ensures natural moisture regulation. The construction is carried out with the aid of the latest 3D CAD software. The wall elements of the solid wood wall are CNC-manufactured with the highest precision on the basis of the construction plans drawn up by the architect or timber planner. Tolerances here are no more than +/- 2 mm. Slopes, door and window cut-outs, installation ducts etc. are accurately cut out or milled. Computer-controlled production with high accuracy of fit according to 3D CAD planning facilitates subsequent assembly on the construction site.

The production process is divided into three parts:
The grooving and levelling of the raw material, the production of the wall panels and the so-called joinery, i.e. the final processing of the wall panel to the millimetre-precise, ready-to-install element. In the first step, the dried boards are provided with grooves, which later ensure a vertical air layer in the finished wall and thus a significantly better insulation value than with pure solid wood. All boards are between 140 and 260 mm wide and 24 mm thick. In the second step, the profiled boards are used to produce raw wall elements by pressing the boards crosswise (lengthwise and crosswise) and nailing them together layer by layer with aluminium grooved pins. Each board intersection is connected with two pins at the greatest possible distance from each other (diagonally). This type of connection ensures the greatest possible stability.

After pressing, the raw wall element is formatted and provided with the required door and window openings. Drill holes for attachment loops, grooves and cut-outs for heating and plumbing as well as sockets and other installation preparations are also milled here under computer control.

At the customer's request, all end faces can be coated with the so-called "wood mortar" so that the elements are water-repellent during transport and assembly. The applied wood mortar also seals the joints between the individual wall sections. Alternatively, this can also be achieved with special airtight membranes.

CLT roofs offer several advantages, including efficient thermal insulation in summer, a simple supporting structure, finished soffits and large-format elements. They enable quick and uncomplicated installation, reduce the amount of material and labour required and offer an aesthetically pleasing solution for a wide range of building projects. The finished soffits of CLT roofs offer added aesthetic value. They are already provided with a visible surface at the factory, which emphasises the natural character of the wood. This creates a pleasant room atmosphere and an appealing design. CLT roofs are characterised by a simple and efficient load-bearing structure. The prefabricated CLT elements offer a high load-bearing capacity and stability so that complex roof constructions can be realised. The large-format elements significantly reduce the assembly time, which saves time and money. CLT roofs are largely resistant to swelling and shrinkage deformations thanks to the cross-layer gluing. The constructive connection of the individual layers of wood minimises the effects of changes in humidity. As a result, the dimensional stability of the CLT roof elements is maintained and the roof structure remains permanently functional.

Pricing
